Below you will find a detailed description of each desert shrub images on the Realworld Imagery Desert Shrubs CD-ROM.

Included are the filename (in caps); botanical name; the common name; actual height of the shrub in feet; type of shrub: evergreen, deciduous, cactus, succulent, or palm; which desert zone the shrub is most suited for: low desert (0' - 3,300') and/or high desert (3,300'+); and the pixel width x height of each image. The filename is comprised of the first 4 letters of the botanical genius name, followed by the first 3 letters of the botanical species name, then an identifying number. For example: AGAV = Agave AME = americana = AGAVAME1.
